Worship & Community Meals

Tuesdays, 5:30  – 6:30 p.m.

Every Tuesday, the community celebrates Holy Communion. Services are led by ministers of various denominations according to their traditions. We invite you to join us afterwards for dinner in the refectory at 6:30 p.m.  A small donation ($15) is requested but not required should you join us for dinner.

Sign up for our livestream reminder emails or visit our YouTube page on Tuesday evenings to watch the service via livestream

Upcoming Sermons/Services

February 3rd- Rev. Freeman Palmer, Conference Minister, Central Atlantic Conference of the United Church of Christ

February 10th- Rev. Lindsey Baynham Freeman, Mission River District Superintendent of the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church

February 17th- Rev. Marlene Forrest, Rector, St. Phillips Episcopal Church

February 24th- Rev. Kevin Jones, Pastor, Ebenezer Baptist Church

Thursdays, 12:00 – 12:15 p.m.

Every Thursday, our regular noon prayer service is followed by a community lunch at 12:30 p.m. in our refectory.  No reservation is needed, just drop by!  We ask for a small donation to cover the cost of the meal ($12), though it is not required.

While you are welcome to attend any daily prayer service at any time (7am, noon, 5:30pm), Thursdays at noon make for a good entry point because of the delicious community lunch that follows. This also makes Thursdays a good choice for a personal day retreat.
