Visit Us This Summer at Richmond Hill

Updated onAugust 1, 2024

Worship Summer Hiatus

Richmond Hill will be taking a summer hiatus from Tuesday night worship and the Tuesday night community meal in June, July, and August. The 2nd Tuesday Taizé Worship and meal will continue on June 11, July 9, and August 13. We will still gather for Thursday community lunch.

Summer Garden Hours

The garden is a thin, sacred space and especially enchanting in the summer evening. We invite you to join us for summer garden hours. Evening hours begin June 1 and are from 5:00-8pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We are seeking volunteers to greet guests at the desk during this time – if you are interested, please reach out to Susan Bell.

Our regular garden hours continue, 9:00am-5:00pm Tuesday through Friday.

Summer Sabbath

We will be closed July 29 – August 12 for our Summer Sabbath. During this time, the office is open but we do not receive visitors or retreatants.  We continue to hold daily prayer at 7am, noon, and 5:30pm and you are welcome to join us by entering and departing through the chapel doors on E. Grace St.

The offices will be closed June 19th for Juneteenth and July 4th & 5th for Independence Day. We will not have community lunch on July 4th.
