New Year and opening the door

This time of year it’s peaceful here on the Hill. This time between Christmas and New Year is a time for travel for some of us, a time to catch up, or to catch our breath after a very busy Fall. Although the Main Gate is closed during the week of Dec. 28 – Jan. 4, we will be open for Monday Night Eucharist on December 28. Eucharist is at 5:30 p.m. and dinner follows. The Chapel door is open at our usual prayer times: 7 a.m., noon, and 6 p.m. Please join us if you’re in the neighborhood.

We will resume our usual operation, with gates open at 4 p.m. on Monday, January 4. Eucharist is at 5:30 p.m., dinner follows, as does Taizé at 7:30 p.m. Blessings on you and yours this Christmastide. And blessings on your New Year, too!
