Rev. Alvin Herring speaks on the racial equity gap, Tuesday, February 7, 7:30 p.m.

Updated onFebruary 3, 2017

“Where Are We On The Journey To Equity?” — Reverend Alvin Herring is Director of Racial Equity & Community Engagement for the W. K. Kellogg Foundation and will speak on how closing the racial equity gap relates to justice and faith. Herring is a much sought after speaker on campuses and in corporate board rooms, as a “messenger” of inspiration and hope.

This lecture is a collaborative effort of the W.K.Kellogg Foundation, Initiatives of Change / Hope in the Cities, and Richmond Hill.

In keeping with its mission of racial reconciliation, Richmond Hill’s Koinonia School of Race & Justice has inaugurated a public lecture series: “Finding Grace in Race.” This series covers historical reality, theology, and cultural bias in an examination of race in metropolitan Richmond.

Event: Finding Grace in Race Lecture Series
Date:   Tuesday evening: February 7, 2017
Time:   7:30 – 9:00 pm
