Join Our Residential Community in 2025

Updated onJanuary 14, 2026

During this season of resurrection and renewal, Richmond Hill is reimaging, rebuilding, and refining our ministry. As such, some of our staff members will assume new roles within Richmond Hill, and we are recruiting for the roles they are vacating. The result will be a new and improved Richmond Hill.

We are looking for Christ-centered, spirit-filled and committed individuals with specific skills and competencies to join our Residential Community. Feeling the call to intentional community, come join us in one of the following roles

To see our most current listing of available positions and instructions on how to apply, please visit Open Positions as it will be updated as positions are filled.

  • Facilities Manager. This position can be filled by an individual who will join Richmond Hill’s residential community, however the position can be modified to accommodate a non-residential staff member. The person in this role should exhibit a commitment to Richmond Hill’s healing mission and to advancing the care of the facilities and grounds—collectively, “the facilities”—that are central to this place-based ministry. Leveraging firm knowledge of and the ability to undertake basic maintenance procedures, coordinate and manage contractors, and meeting permit/inspection requirements, this person will respect and care for the physical needs of Richmond Hill with spiritual, ministerial, and pastoral awareness and care.
  • Director of Operations. This position is ideally filled by an individual who will join Richmond Hill’s residential community, however the position can be modified to accommodate a non-residential staff member. The person in this senior leadership role will serve on the Executive Committee and on the Council.  In order that Richmond Hill’s four-fold mission and related programming are maximally prioritized and implemented, the person in this role is responsible for managing all business and administrative operations of Richmond Hill including payroll and human resources, finance, information technology, and buildings and grounds.
  • Chef/Dining Coordinator. The person in this role will serve as the lead for all food services and ensure that nutritious and delicious meals are properly prepared and served to up to 100 guests. This role is a key component of Richmond Hill’s Hospitality Ministry. The Dining Coordinator plans meals for Richmond Hill’s community gatherings, shops for ingredients, prepares meals in accordance with ServSafe standards, and is ServSafe Certified. This role can be modified to be part-time hourly non-residential staff.
  • Hospitality Director. The resident in this role is responsible for hosting retreat groups from the time of their initial inquiry through the scheduling process and their actual visit. This role also provides pastoral support to the residential community, the Dining Coordinator/Chef, and key front desk volunteers. Effective communication, high attention to detail and the gift and love of hospitality are essential in this role.
  • Officer Coordinator. The person in this residential role is a presence of Hospitality and welcomes the opportunity to serve as the first contact for many guests, while internally providing basic organizing and office support to all staff. A willing commitment to Richmond Hill’s mission and firm knowledge of office procedures will help the person flourish in this role.
  • Volunteer Coordinator. This new role is responsible for recruitment, screening, training, placement, and ongoing support of volunteers at Richmond Hill.  This role recruits individuals and groups for both ongoing and special projects; develops and implements comprehensive training programs; and places volunteers in projects that fit their skills, gifts, and talents.
  • Facilities Assistant. The person in this residential role will assist the Associate Pastor for Facilities Management with the maintenance and upkeep of Richmond Hill’s campus and will serve as a first point of contact for building emergencies, also coordinating with all residents regarding the same. The person serving in this role should have a basic understanding of routine repairs and fixes and be open to learning and responding to unscheduled occurrences.
  • Director of Outreach and Spiritual Formation. The person in this new role will be responsible for engaging churches, faith based, community organizations and community members to both support and utilize the ministry of Richmond Hill. This role is also responsible for planning and implementing worship gatherings and other spiritually enriching programming at Richmond Hill and inviting the public to participate.

Before applying for residential positions, please review information on full-time residency, and feel free to reach out to our pastoral director to engage in conversation around what it means to be part of our residential community.
