Art & Spirituality Retreat – December 13, 2025

Join us an Advent themed Art & Spirituality retreat .  You will be guided through a meditation on Mary’s song, the Magnificat, and then have time to journal from a reflective prompt to consider what the passage awakens in you. Next, there will be a demonstration of techniques for a mixed media art piece. You will have the remaining time to create you piece and share with the group at the end.

The retreat begins at 9am on Saturday, breaks for noon prayers and lunch, and then continues in the creative experience in the afternoon ending around 4pm.

Facilitator Lauren Bleam is an artist and creative educator. She is also the owner of Awake Arts, a small business that focuses on the intersections between art, healing, and community. She uses creativity, reflection, and whimsy to help people stay present to their lives.
