Art for Praise & Thanksgiving

Updated onOctober 13, 2014

Saturday, November 15, 2014, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

November is the perfect time of the year to quiet your spirit, to give thanks for all blessings and people in your life, and to prepare for the season of Advent. What better way to express what is on your heart and in your prayers than through your own work of art.

In the prayerful quiet that Richmond Hill offers, bring or find your favorite hymn, poem, prayer, quote or write something of your own that expresses that for which you want to offer praise, to honor, or to give thanks.  Be open and awake to your own inspiration and creativity. Using materials such as pen and ink, markers, paper and glue, watercolors, chalks or any combination, create a personal visual representing your feelings or words of Praise and Thanksgiving.  Have fun while seeing and experiencing your pathway to God in  a new, personal way.

Facilitator: Brenda Giannini

Suggested donation $30. includes lunch and art materials.

Sign-up: Deborah Cannady at 804-783-7903 or retreats@richmondhillva.org
