Koinonia Reparations Sunday, now on Zoom

Come hear these faith leaders and join in the conversation Sunday, August 22, 6-7 pm

According to the Grassroots Reparations Campaign (GRC), reparations are a spiritual practice, not just a transaction. Join Richmond Hill & Coming to the Table RVA on Reparations Sunday as we continue to explore reparations as a relational practice of healing spiritual, moral, and material harm. Faith communities are being called upon to help lead and support this work through #ReparationSundays that serve as a path toward educating and building a culture of reparations.

We will be joined by Rev. Mel Dowdy of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Rev. Amy Redwine of First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Ellis Henderson of The Way of the Lord Fellowship, Rev. Robin Mines of Taylor’s Chapel AME Zion Church, along with Cora Armstrong as our guest Psalmist. They will share how they are helping to create a culture of reparations that emerges from spiritual practice, transformative education and action.
