2024 Spiritual Directors Spring Forum

Theme: Spiritual Direction and Prayer 

Join us as we reflect on the nature of prayer and its relevance to spiritual direction, and share our preferred forms of praying during and in-between spiritual guidance sessions. We will have a Centering Prayer time on Friday evening after dinner.  Saturday morning we will begin the Forum with a time of prayer and a Sound Bath. 

Suggested Donations: 
$40 – Saturday only
$55 – Saturday and dinner on Friday (no overnight)
$95 – Individual overnight retreat option (4pm Friday – 4pm Saturday)

Intention for the Spring Forum:

  • To hold in prayer ourselves, each other and our directees
  • To reflect upon the nature of prayer and its relevance to spiritual direction
  • To recognize and share our prayer forms & patterns during and in-between spiritual guidance sessions

Intention for the Fellowship of Spiritual Directors:

  • To bolster the fellowship of Spiritual Directors at Richmond Hill
  • To listen and respond to the movement of the Spirit in our ministry of spiritual guidance
  • To learn or refresh skills relevant to the ministry of spiritual guidance
  • To pray and worship in community

A question for the Round Robin on the practice of spiritual direction
