October 16 is Clergy Convocation 2014. Are you ready to ride?

5th Annual Clergy Convocation is Thursday, October 16, 7:00 am – 1:00 pm 

Are you ready to ride? This year, we’re taking the Clergy Convocation on the road. We’ll start out in the Chapel then get on chartered GRTC buses to travel the major corridors of metropolitan Richmond. Our goal is to read our communities as well as we read the Bible. Join clergy from across the denominational spectrum to build relationships and theologically reflect on how the Lord takes the concrete realities of our communities and transforms them into the Kingdom of God.

Here’s the schedule for the day:

  • 7:00 am – Prayer in Chapel
  • 7:30 am – Light Breakfast
  • 8:00 am – Program starts
  • 9:15 am – Buses load
  • 9:30 am – Buses roll
  • Noon – Prayer and Charge from Dean John Kinney
  • 12:30 pm – Lunch

Pre-registration is required. Space is limited. Donation of $10 by pre-paid reservation only; lunch is available for an additional $5.
