Weekday RUAH: Clergy, Seminarian & Educator Cohort

Training Program begins September 2022. 

Join a cohort of clergy and religious educators who meet once a month for a 24-hour retreat in this two-year training. Participants will:

  • Gain skills in spiritual guidance for groups and individuals.
  • Find rest, retreat, and renewal for yourself and your ministry.
  • Be a part of a discerning community of ministry leaders who want to help others deepen their faith and spiritual lives.
  • Build lasting friendships and spiritual learning with other religious leaders from Richmond and beyond.

The RUAH School is a two-year program which exists to identify and develop the charism of spiritual guidance.  This cohort is specifically designed for clergy and ministry leaders.  Participants will discern their call to the practice of spiritual guidance, develop their gifts and skills; prepare to offer spiritual guidance in their own context; receive spiritual guidance from someone trained in this ministry; and deepen one’s own theological, historical, scriptural and experiential background in soul care.
