This bundle includes 2 items: (1) Shurflo 8000-543-250 Bypass 12-Volt Diaphragm Pump with (1) Shurflo 255-568 Inline Strainer. Ideal for applications that require smooth and consistent flows, this Shurflo 8000-543-250 Bypass Pump incorporates a triple chamber design with Viton elastomers to handle the toughest spraying applications. You can fit this standard internal bypass pump on spot sprayers or agricultural sprayers to handle a variety of applications, including spot spraying, agricultural spraying, lawn spraying, foam marking, fluid transfer, and more. The bypass mode is useful in applications where a wide range of flows and pressures are required and where frequent stopping and starting of the motor is needed. An example is a spray boom with multiple nozzles, each controlled independently. The pump runs regardless of pressure in the system. Flow rate is different if one nozzle is turned on opposed to having two or more on. Once nozzles are turned off, excess flow is bypassed within the pump. Note: The Shurflo 8000-543-250 and 8009-543-250 are the same exact pumps. The Shurflo 255-568 In-Line Strainer included in this bundle is a bowl-style, twist-on strainer that prevents debris from being drawn into your 12V electric diaphragm pump. Install this strainer / suction filter on the vacuum side of the pump head to help prevent debris and other particles from entering your pump. The strainer has polypropylene housing, nylon bowl, and 50 mesh stainless steel screen.
