Just A Day’s Journey: Living a Job Faith

Updated onOctober 8, 2024

Saturday, October 5, 2024 | 9am – 4pm

Job’s biblical story presents one of the most spectacular, intimate, divine-human encounters ever offered in literature! Job declares that he searched every way he knew how to “find God”: NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST. He finally had to conclude: “[God] knows right where I am!”

This biblical book reveals that our troubles and traumas offer a pathway to a grander life purpose. It’s a faith-transforming process insuring triumph in our spiritual journey. Such faith is like a golden thread woven into the tapestry of our lives!

Join Rev. Dr. Paige Lanier Chargois for this one-day, faith-enriching, retreat! Her book, Living a Job Faith: From Tried to Triumphant, will be available for purchase at the retreat. (If you wish to read it prior to the retreat – totally optional – it is available from Amazon or can be ordered from your favorite local bookstore.) Her book offers a refreshing and deeper glimpse into Job’s life — from Heaven’s “Sovereign Courtroom” through Job’s quizzical, spiritual “stairway” to God.

Suggested retreat donation: $60, includes lunch. Scholarship assistance is available. Space is limited and registration closes September 27.
